Week of July 4 in Freeport - Activities

Freeport, home of shopping giant L.L. Bean, will be adding to its annual July 4 activities this year, as L.L. Bean has additional events planned.

This year, 2012, is the 100th Anniversary of the founding of L.L. Bean and this week is their "Hometown Celebration" with special events, concert and fireworks display in Freeport.

July 4^th:

L.L.Bean’s July 4^th 10K and Family Fun Run at 7:30am

Freeport 4^th of July Parade 10am

Jo Dee Messina plays 7:30pm

July 5^th:

Free Outdoor Discovery School activities all day

Rico Petrocelli and Wally the Green Monster visiting

5pm-9pm Free Jazz Night

July 6^th:

Field games at Morse Street Baseball field with Gold Medalist Seth Wescott

Meet Slugger from the Portland Sea Dogs at Morse Street fields from 10am-4pm

Farmer’s Market set up in the afternoon

Maine Academy of Modern Music bands play from 2pm-9pm

Bath Heritage Days (Bath)

July 7^th:

Street Festival all day

Chris Isaak in free concert 7:30 pm – 9 pm

Fireworks display at 9pm
